Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt ClassesAugust 30 2018 | Other News
We are very excited as Margaret has agreed to run another set of classes. We have had lots of inquiries as to when we might be able to run these classes from interested Patch Workers. If you are interested please give us a call as we already have names registered.
In this class you will learn how to make up the blocks using the Foundation Piecing method with the machine (known for its accuracy in piecing points and small pieces), or the traditional method of Hand Piecing. The finished Quilt is quite large (111 blocks), how ever you can choose to make a smaller quilt or other items using the blocks featured in the book…….but be warned…it is addictive and past class participants have continued on to complete all blocks or made a personal commitment to do so. It really does become a challenge!!
Participants of this class are invited to j0in the very casual monthly Farmers Wife group….to continue to be inspired to complete he quilt after the formal classes finish. You will need to purchase the Farmers Wife Book (Jiddi’s will order in these books for you if you don’t already have it), which has the CD in it with all the patterns prior to the Class.
There are a lot of posts on PINTEREST so check out the Farmers Wife Blocks to get you enthused.
