Two by Four Baby Quilt
Sonia Walder

This Fat Quarter friendly quilt is fun to make and goes together quite quickly. A great project if you are just beginning your quilting journey or a fun quilt to make in class if you have quilted before and just need some assistance or motivation. You couldn’t ask for a better teacher to learn the skills required to make this gorgeous quilt. Sonia will teach you all you need to know in a friendly non threatening environment. It is all about enjoyment as you learn.
You choose your favourite fabrics. Non directional prints work best. You can use directional prints, however, the design will be upside down on half the block! This could add a quirky touch to the design.
Each pair of Fat Quarters yields 6 blocks.
Block size is 9 inches x 10.5 inches (unfinished)
This Cot size Quilt is 5 x 6 blocks – 42″ x 58″ – 10 Fat Quarters are required for this Quilt.
Of course you can make more blocks to make a larger version.
7 x 8 blocks (56 blocks in total) – 18 Fat Quarters.

Supermarket Shopping Bag

The plastic supermarket bags are being fazed out……so what do you do……you make your own sturdy bags that will carry the heavy things and last for years.
These Tote bags are shaped just like the recyclable bags you can purchase at the supermarket, but these will not rip apart. Made out of ‘Toughduck’, a polyester fabric with a waterproof vinyl back, it should last an eternity. Pocket and trim made from some co-ordinated, heavy weight cotton. You can make it out of what ever you like of course but once you have made one you can make several to store in the boot of your car for the grocery shopping……not to mention how attractive they are!!!!!
This is a great class for the beginner.
